This setting of Christos rodilsja, Boh vopolitilsja is taken from the Metropolitan Cantor Institute's Byzantine Catholic Hymnal for Nativity and Theophany (2007). The English translation is by Father Joseph Radvansky. (The original title was "Rejoice, all nations.")

This setting was originally printed in the booklet Christ is Born: Glorify Him (1969), by Monsignor Levkulic.
It was later published in the 1970 collection Byzantine Liturgical Chant, on page C8 (number 12 in the Christmas Carols section), and in the Hymns section of Monsignor Levkulic's The Divine Liturgy, a Book of Prayer (1978), where the English translator (Rev. Joseph Radvansky) is named.
