This Christmas hymn is from page 147 of Father Stefan Papp's Duchovňi Pisňi (1969).

Sources

This hymn appeared in the L'vov Pisnoslovets (1907) as hymn number 24, with five. The 1932 collection Kolady (from Užhorod) printed five verses of the hymn under the title, "Likujušče vozihrajme dnes".

In 1969, Father Stefan Papp printed a version with music and the three verses given above, corresponding to verses 1, 4, and 5 of the text given in the 1907 Pisnoslovets.
