The text of this Passion hymn is that of Monsignor William Levkulic (see below), who also published an English setting, O my God, you are so merciful.

This hymn was included in the Užhorod Pisennik (1913) as hymn number 79, with 33 (!) verses
Music and fifteen verses were prined on pages 112-113 of Father Stefan Papp's Duchovňi Pisňi (1969). Perhaps 2/3 of the verses in this version are identical or similar to verses in the Pisennik, while about 1/3 come from some other source.
The first and third verses, along with an English translation (O my God, you are so merciful) were printed in Monsignor William Levkulic's collection, Hymns for Great Lent, on page 34.
