The text of this hymn to the Mother of God is that of Father William Levkulic and Cantor Jerry Jumba, who also provided an English translation, Virgin Mother, Intercessor.

Sources

In 1969, Father Stephen Papp printed five verses of this hymn, with music, on page 84 of his collection Duchovňi Pisňi. The words "O Marije" are added to the title, to distinguish this hymn from another "D’ivo Mati zastupaj nas" in the same collection.

A different set of three verses, with music, were published in the Marian Hymnal (1984) on page 46.
