This hymn for the feast of the Transfiguration (August 6) is from Father Stefan Papp's Duchovňi Pisňi (1969).

The text of this hymn appeared in the Užhorod Pisennik (1913) as number 115, titled "Na hori preobrazivsja", with eight verses. The same text (identical except for spelling differences) was also included in the L'vov Pisnoslovets (1911), on page 208. The latter volume makes it clear that, as in the notatred version shown above, the last two phrases are sung through twice.
In 1969, Father Stefan Papp printed the version with music and four verses given above (Duchovňi Pisňi, page 45). It incorporates the first verse of the earlier version and several individual lines, but otherwise the text is signficantly different.
