{"id":803,"date":"2016-11-04T21:44:35","date_gmt":"2016-11-05T01:44:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mci.archpitt.org\/blog\/?p=803"},"modified":"2016-12-26T16:47:58","modified_gmt":"2016-12-26T21:47:58","slug":"changes-at-the-metropolitan-cantor-institute","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mci.archpitt.org\/blog\/changes-at-the-metropolitan-cantor-institute\/","title":{"rendered":"Changes at the Metropolitan Cantor Institute"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(The following message went out today on the <a href=\"http:\/\/groups.yahoo.com\/group\/mcinews\">mcinews mailing list<\/a>.\u00a0 If you&#8217;re not on it, please join!)<\/p>\n<p>Dear Cantors,<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>I am writing to let you know that my daytime employer (IBM) has relocated my job (and me) to Austin, Texas as of November 1.\u00a0 The new mailing address for the Metropolitan Cantor Institute will be 10002 Faylin Drive, Austin TX, 78753.\u00a0 I will continue to be reachable at <a href=\"tel:%28412%29%20735-1676\" target=\"_blank\">(412) 735-1676<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Metropolitan William has asked me to continue to serve as director of the Metropolitan Cantor Institute; to coordinate cantor education across our four eparchies; and to continue to help with the work of the Inter-Eparchial Liturgical Commission.\u00a0 He also wants to see us provide much more assistance to cantors who cannot make it to Pittsburgh for classes (though we are continuing to plan a 5-day cantor \/ choir director workshop for new July).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Because our household goods are still in transit, my access to email and to the <a href=\"http:\/\/mci.archpitt.org\">MCI website<\/a> will be limited for the next week or so.\u00a0 But once things are back in order, expect some announcements for upcoming events and resources.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Please keep me in your prayers!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>In Christ,<\/div>\n<div>Deacon Jeffrey Mierzejewski<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(The following message went out today on the mcinews mailing list.\u00a0 If you&#8217;re not on it, please join!)
