The next day is <a href=\"https:\/\/mci.archpitt.org\/blog\/liturgy\/Lazarus_Saturday.html\">Lazarus Saturday<\/a>, and after that is <a href=\"https:\/\/mci.archpitt.org\/blog\/liturgy\/Palm_Sunday.html\">Palm Sunday<\/a>. These two days mark the transition from the Great Fast to the Great and Holy Week of the Lord&#8217;s Passion.<\/p>\n<p>We have two traditional hymns for Palm Sunday &#8211; one newly composed in English, and one a translation of a Slavonic hymn (which is also used for our A setting of the Cherubic Hymn):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mci.archpitt.org\/blog\/songs\/discuss\/O_Son_of_David.html\">O Son of David<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mci.archpitt.org\/blog\/songs\/discuss\/Rejoice_today.html\">Rejoice today<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/mci.archpitt.org\/blog\/songs\/Slavonic\/Radujsja_zilo.html\">Radujsja zilo<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both of these could use a bit of fine-tuning.
