A new commandment

This English setting of the dismissal hymn, Siju zapovid' daju vam, can be found on 461 of the Divine Liturgies book. The text is from the Gospel according to Saint John (John 13:34).

Sources

A slightly different English text and music were published in the 1970 collection Byzantine Liturgical Chant, on page H6 (number 8 in the Hymns section). The English and Slavonic text were included in the Hymns section of Monsignor Levkulic's The Divine Liturgy, a Book of Prayer (1978).
